Another interesting application field of silicone is the production of moulds and accessories for cooking food products in bakery, domestic and industrial sector. Once again silicone, which is resistant and stable to the cooking temperatures (even superior to 200°C) and doesn’t release harmful substances, consents to reduce time of cooking and to simplify the cleaning of the anti-stick moulds. The components, made in different forms, are compliant to the European and American regulations related to material destined to food contact and are suitable to the baking in ventilated, and static oven, microwaves, automatic plants and also professional industrial equipment.
